With over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, Aldo González has held executive positions at leading companies such as Gava Capital, Insar, and Orange Investments. The value of the project portfolio in which he has had the chance to be involved exceeds one billion USD, spanning the markets of Mexico, the U.S., and Canada. His expertise includes project structuring, investment vehicles, operations, corporate strategy, and feasibility analysis. From 2019 to 2022, he served as the Vice President at 7 Gen Communities, a Canadian company focused on housing and sustainable energy in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico, leading the structuring of investment opportunities, operations, product development, and corporate strategy.
Currently President & CEO of Cazas Properties, for 23 years, he served as VP & CFO at FINSA. He coordinated and led the sale of three portfolios representing over 2.6 million square meters with a cumulative value of $1.8 billion. He spearheaded the formation of three international Joint Ventures, raising $350 million in capital and domestically the equivalent of $1.1 billion in 3 vehicles through seven Afores and 3 foreign investors, in addition to managing over $1.4 billion in debt to secure capital investment. These efforts contributed to the company experiencing a 25% CAGR. He was a member of the Board of Directors at FINSA and a key figure in CKD I and CKD II, as well as FONDOFINSA III, where he also served as a member of the Investment and Finance Committees. In 2019, he was selected for the “CFO of the Year” award by the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF), being recognized among the top 5 finalists out of 100 participants.
With over 21 years in the renewable energy industry and sustainable development, he is responsible for driving results for s2e, as well as the development and execution of new business and projects outside of Canada. He served for 3 years as the VP of Commercial Operations at Canadian Solar Solutions Inc. He also held the position of VP Operations of Americas for City Solar AG and as CFO for Minerals de Pacific Coast S.A. de C.V. He has held roles as VP of business development, marketing, and sales, as well as Financial Director of Spheral Solar Power Inc. He has worked in Canada, England, and Mexico, where he also collaborated with various companies such as FEMSA, Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma, S.A. de C.V., Moctezuma and Cuauhtemoc Imports Ltd., and Bancomer S.A. de C.V.

He is the President of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Monterrey; leader of the Regulatory Committee of the Energy Cluster of Nuevo León, A.C., and President of the National Energy Technical Committee of the IMEF. A graduate professor at UANL and UDEM, he is the co-author of the book “Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms in Regulated Sectors in Latin America”.
